I purchased an SRenault to use for vintage and local club racing in 2018. I'm looking at HANS devices; they seem to be made for 20 and 30 degree seat incline angles. The websites imply 20 is for sports and stock cars and 30 is for formula cars. Which one do most of you use?
Thanks,

The 20 is fine. 30 is for the cars with a lot more layback in the seat

I've always used a 30 with the Butler. 20 may be fine if you're on the thinner side and using a stock fiberglass seat.

I've used both. For me the thirty was better (fiberglass seat, large guy).

Mine is a 20-degree, Butler seat with the HANS setback.

I have a 30 degree medium neck ( up to 17 1/2 ) that I used for a SRF. It is for sale at $395. Call at 419 544 0489 or davecoppock@gmail.com. Corrected email.
