Fellow SRF Drivers
We'd like to introduce a new series called "The Triple-T Cup SRF Series". The series was developed through a collaboration of the DC Region and SJ Region SCCA SRF drivers that have put together a local regional series that includes great races, lots of prizes, and lots of fun.
All information for this series is being done through our company web site at the direct link: http://tripletcuttingtools.com/racing/t ... rf-series/ . Please check it out.
We have developed a lot of excitement locally for this new series and hope that we can attract some competitors from some other regions. You Northeast Motion Dynamics guys are great competitors and it would be great to have you guys down for the season.
We have received great sponsorship for the season and even if you don't participate, please check out the sponsorship list thru our web site. They have been FANTASTIC.

This whole intent of this series was to concentrate SNJ and WDC region SRFs at common events. With so many Regions fighting each other for entries, and Regions competing with Majors, this alliance will go a long way to creating consistent 15-30 car SRF fields every race weekend.
And by doing that, we will keep SRF's a stand-alone run group in both regions. Kudos to Steve for creating a great prize program too. I'm looking forward to it! |

Racers,
Our first Triple-T Cup Series event is coming up on April 8th and we hope to see some Gen 2's compete. If you look at our prize schedule for this event, the second race is for Gen 2 podium winners. Hope we can get more to sign up. At this point, you're an automatic winner. Ya gotta like that. So far, we have 13 Gen 3's coming to play. Good stuff for this event. The prize schedule direct link is: http://tripletcuttingtools.com/racing/t ... es/prizes/ Thanks everyone and hope to see a good crowd. Steve |

I'm looking forward to it. I did some laps last week and they have reworked some of the curbing. Inside of T3, T4, T7 and T9 now has gentle curbing. Maybe more speed.

Quick update on our Triple-T Cup SRF Race series. So far it's been a very successful series, especially considering the high number of racers that are focused more on the Runoffs this year. We have obligated at least a two year commitment to this series. There are 36 participants in the series. You can see all the latest updates using the links at the bottom of the link: http://tripletcuttingtools.com/racing/t ... rf-series/ I just want to thank everyone that has participated in the first 5 of 8 events and a huge thanks for all the pics and bios supplied for our pamphlets that we offer at each event. Also want to thank all of the support from many racers that say they will be ready to participate next year. Good stuff.

what is the entry fee for these races, are they one day or two, how do you enter, I have so many questions.

Bruce: These events piggy-back on existing Regional SCCA events. Most are DC Region races but some or SNJ Region. The Triple T Cup counts the Saturday qualifier race, so in a typical weekend there are two Triple T cup races.
If you register for the event, you're automatically in the Triple T Cup event. No additional charge or steps required. There are two more events remaining. One will piggy-back on the Labor Day Races with the DC Region at Summit Point (which will count as three races for Triple T Cup), and the finale is October 21 at NJMP. Huge "Thanks" to http://TripleTcuttingTools.com for this series. The entries have been wonderful and competition extremely tight. Good mix of tracks and great camaraderie at the track. Looking to add to the prize pool next year. Maybe a "hard Charger" cash payout from Olsinvest Financial?

Thanks for the shout out Alan. You've been a great addition to the SRF community not to mention an exceptional racer.
Final event of the Series coming up the weekend of Oct 21-22 at NJMP and hoping we have another great field. More great contingencies including a $500 cash drawing if we get over 25 cars that is sponsored by Pete LaMaina's company (Calhoun and LaMaina Insurance). Full prize list is at: http://tripletcuttingtools.com/racing/t ... es/prizes/ We're up to 14 racers and hope we get a big bump before the weekend. Great to see you coming down to race Bruce Myers. |
