Hi Guys,
Thanks again to all the folks who reached out and gave me some great starting numbers for the set up of the car, I look forward to starting to dial it in at the test day @ the NJMP National next month.
Well, my car was believed to have the old 5th gear in to ( after speaking with the past 2 owners although to be fair the car only ran 3 events in the past 7 years ) and so I ordered the update and found some free time this afternoon to switch them out. So after taking the case cover off, I decided to count the teeth on the new gears ( 5th and reverse ) of both the new set and the one in the transmission. They both have the same ( 40 teeth on the 5th gear and 30 on the reverse ) and I put a micrometer on them and the both measure 77.7 mm.
Anyone remember the measurements of the old gears so I can confirm that the new ones are in there? I might have just gotten lucky.

Believe it or not, I still have the old gear - it has 41 teeth and measures about 79mm

41 teeth makes more sense as that comes out to .73 (30/41)
