Temp sensor question

After some very frightening numbers on my AIM water temp guage this past weekend at High Plains Raceway, I'd like to look into moving that sensor to an oil line for oil temp (or purchasing a new sensor/fitting). Since I have the dash water temp sensor reattached now (done when I put this motor in), I can afford to lose the AIM water temp sensor.
My question is this: I bought this AIM set up from Barney Moen (California SRF) a while back and when I got the water temp sensor (thermocouple), it came with a "connector" that splices into the water line. That metal housing (just cut the line, plug the barbs into each end of the existing hose, and there's a tapped spot for the thermocouple) works great.
Where do I get another of these housings or fittings?
In summary what I need is this: some way to plug a temp thermocouple into an oil line on an SRF. The way it's done for water right now would be great, if I could figure out where to get such a mounting fitting.
I checked McMaster-Carr and either I don't have the vocabulary to find what I need, or I'm just ignorant and am looking in the wrong place (softball there, for those of you who play).

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

So I suppose I could just tap this onto the top of one of the oil cooler fittings, yes (assuming it'll fit under the side pod)? Then the next challenge is to decide which side of the cooler (I presume input, if I can determine which that is lol).

Also, I think I should have put this under the technical section - my bad. Mod, can you move the thread?

Most of the remote filter adapters have a cast boss that you can drill and tap for a 1/8 NPT sensor.

That is an excellent solution which I have used for most of the Aspen Toyota conversions but there is one thing you must do. There is not enough meat on the bones (so to speak) on that casting so before drilling and tapping the casting I welded a ring around the cast boss to make a larger target to drill and tap into. If you do not do this you will split the casting around the threaded hole while installing the 1/8 tapered pipe sensor. been there/done that.

Denny,

The inline coupler Dave linked to from Pegasus in his post is the one I was talking to you about at High Plains.

As for figuring out which one of those lines is the input, and which is the exhaust, it's easy.

Unplug one of the lines at the cooler, start the motor, and see where the oil starts shooting out from....
