I hope this is not repeat subject and apologize in advance if it is.

I'm looking to replace an upper ball joint (Moog K3082) and noticed that the brand new one is awfully stiff. Is there any known procedure to safely free them before install?

As a newbie I had the same concern. CSR told me to put new one(s) on the rear, that is, if you have to replace a front, move a rear to the front and put the new one on the rear.

Every few years I buy around 15 of them, take the best 2-4, return the rest.
