cracked front mount (alternator side)

It's this a common failure? Should I add a gusset when I get it weld repaired? Les Kurz NER SRF #31 Chassis #008 (GEN2)

If I remember correctly I found 2 cracked in half on two separate occasions. I'm not sure if a gusset would just move the stress point, but it worth a try. I would have reinforced it the last time except that was when I went to the Gen3 so not much point.

Both of the right side brackets were cracked almost exactly the same way. Les Kurz NER SRF #31 Chassis #008 (GEN2)

Any recent stops (forwards or backwards) more sudden than normal braking?

It isn't hard to do and can be hard to spot.
