The turning range of the front wheels is pretty close to 20 degrees, IIRC.

I induce understeer by using old tires on the front. I offset that by inducing oversteer using old tires on the rear. H.(neutral setup)B. |

Hal,
I think I know better from Ellinger not to respond to you post, but (what the heck) what shock and bar settings do you use? DaveP |

that's a great manual sheet on caster! thanks so much!
I prefer a tighter race car, not one that is loose and swishing around, so I am going to try to run the SRF tigher, but to allow some amount of leaning. I just don't want it swimming around on me. I think I was running Hal's setup too at my last race... |
My crew keeps that information a secret...from me. H.(if I knew, I'd tell)B. |

Just an update here for future reference, I was talking to enterprises about a few other items and it turns out that there is not a legal aftermarket fuel pump. So my $50 napa pump, which had the same numbers at what was already on my SRF, was in fact not legal and the pump my car was running since I purchased it was not legal either!
The right pump is a Kinsler pump through enterprises - I one coming from my local friendly CSR. |
If you're going to spring for a new fuel pump I'd recommend spending a bit more and going with the in-tank unit. That will be a requirement for the Gen 3 as well.

Yeah! I agree - but i "cheaped out". I figure I can't get my hands on a Gen3 kit for at least 12-16 months at current build rates. And that's fine, I have more than enough to learn on my 1.9L and I'm sure in another 12-16 months....I'll be replacing aluminum and I'll get that FuelCell back out
