Hi All,

Is there any advantage to the new metal intake tube Part # 592209 other than it looks cool?
I would think that it would conduct the heat from the exhaust system better than the rubber tube.
Thanks in advance for your response.

Cory

First, it is cheaper to replace than the old hose. Second, it flows air better than the old hose. As for the heat...you will need to insulate wrap it the same as the old hose.

It's also a good way to stick it to the SM guys. You can brag about your big, off-season investment in the latest go-fast modification. I have no proof, but I suppose it will last longer and less likely to impede airflow due to collapsing.
