Still Learning to Type

I'm re-packing all four cv joints on my SRF, could someone tell me how much grease to put into them? I've searched the forum and could not find an answer. When I took them off they varied from a boot full of grease to "covered, with a bit more on top". The inners are the older style tri-lobed (tripod) kind. Is there an easy way to get new grease into the needle bearings? Thanks.
