The 2013 West Coast Braggin' Rights Championship had its first weekend with the BF Goodrich Tire Super Tour Double National at CalClub Speedway. Oregon Region has challenged SoCal and SFR to a three weekend challenge to determine the top SRF drivers and region on the West Coast. Last year Oregon region took the top 5 spots and Todd Harris the Braggin' Rights Champtionship.
The first race on Sat was:
Todd Harris - OR
TJ Acker- SoCal
Mike Miserendino - SoCal
Steve Fogg - OR
Kyle Egleton - SoCal
John Tipton - OR
Lee Douglas -OR
Tom Burt - OR
Jack Willes - SoCal
Craig Zaph - SoCal

Sunday was:

Mike Miserendion - SoCal
Todd Harris - OR
John Tipton - OR
Steve Fogg - OR
Paul Marino - SoCal
Kyle Eggleton - SoCal
TJ Acker - SoCal
Lee Douglas - OR
Jack Wiles - SoCal
Craig Zaph - SoCal

After the first two races points leaders are:

Harris - 36 OR
Miserendino - 34 SoCal
Fogg - 24 OR
Acker - 24 SoCal
Tipton - 23 OR
Eggleton - 19 Socal
Douglas - 15 OR
Marino - 14 SoCal
Willes 12 SoCal
Zaph - 10 So Cal
Pheteplace - 5 Socal
Halloran - 4 OR

Based on top 5 from each Region:

SoCal - 103
OR - 102

Next event is the weekend of March 22-24 at Thill with final races at the 53rd Rose Cup Races in Portland the weekend of June 14 -16.

Hmmmm, according to the tally, SFR may have some room for improviement on their point tally. I suspect that the first trick to getting more points on the board, is that we have to show up. :shock:
