As requested, here is a poll of drivers' preference regarding choice of rain tires!

Before voting you should review this thread: http://www.specracer.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=572 to ensure you a properly informed (or confused ;) )

BTW, you can change your vote on this one! So vote early, vote often!!!

I had the uncomfortable occasion last week of having to cast a vote for a 'binding' mandatory tire selection for a car class that would not affect me, and though I tried to abstain -on the basis firstly that it didn't, but also that I harbor deep religious convictions against racing "spec" cars made of metal- in the end I was forced into taking a position and casting a vote.

So my vote here is to assign my proxy to Enterprises.

I was going to post something about that one, Tony. But I decided to keep my mouth shut for a change. :)

I thought this was settled business and locked in by Enterprises. Why then the need for this?

Having run in a group of mixed new/old rain tires, you just can't run them together. The grip level is way different. We just need a poll to discuss other uses for perfectly good, "old" rain tires. Like tire swings for very small, wide children.

Because someone asked? ;)

Note there are no votes for not using rain tires at all. :D

Dave - can I change my vote? No rain tires sounds like lots of fun. Heck - half the time we drive in the wet, it starts to rain while we're already on track so we end up on dries any way. :o

Yes, Lee, you can change your vote. At least, you are supposed to be able to.
Maybe we should have a contest to see who can come up with the most outrageous option. :)
