I suggest University of Denver, University of Colorado and Colorado State University as close to High Plains.

Also, don't forget Hobart & William Smith Colleges for the Watkins Glen list (right at the other end of Lake Seneca).

Feffman - You will be doing some driving. Road Atlanta is about 6 hours to Vanderbilt, but it is only 45 minutes to Ga or GA tech and about an hour to Clemson. Not sure how far Duke is to CMP, but it is only about 20 minutes to South Carolina (as a Clemson grad, I wouldn't recomend :))
