Hi All,

Several Florida and Texas SRF racers will be at the F1 race. We can't get a hospitality tent to have a place to congregate but I am sure we can informaly meet together somewhere during the 3 days to visit, have drinks, whatever. Who is coming? Any Yankees? Or West Coast? Or others? Some of us will be staying on the Riverwalk in San Antonio so we can also arrange to meet at a restaurant some evening there.

Johnny T and I will be coming down from the Pacific Northwest. We arrive Thursday night. My brother (Phil Fogg Jr.) is running in the Pirelli Cup undercard race. We are staying in downtown Austin. San Antonio would be tough for us (we have the wives / others in our group) but would enjoy getting together with fellow SRFers at some point. When the race weekend schedule actually gets posted, maybe we can plan from there. (my bro said it should come out two-three weeks prior to race weekend)

Thanks Steve - that is the first I have heard of which group will be the support race.

I'll be coming from Georgia, and will be staying with my brother-in-law in Round Rock. I'm planning to park at the airport and take the shuttle from there. But, I'm really eager to see details of the race weekend schedule.

My shop is across the street from the track but nobody can walk to or from here, so you'd have to drive all the way from a satellite parking lot -- and supposedly, it'll be local traffic only for the entire weekend!

I'll be standing at a corner station waving a flag... don't know WHICH corner yet, but I'm sure I'll be picking bits of tyre from my hair.

That sounds cool. Should be pretty easy duty flagging an F1 race ... kind of like flagging an SRF race.

We should probably all meet at the track to stake out our paddock spots for the 2014 Runoffs!

OK once we see the schedule I'll post something here to find a mutually common area to have an SRF get together - I assume Friday and/or Saturday will work best.

I'll be there Saturday and Sunday for sure (haven't decided on Friday practice yet) and think it would be cool to get the SRF community together. I'll be roaming around the general admission areas.
