Rumor has it that our upcoming races might be held without spectators. NASCAR has made an announcement, and I'm sure we will follow suit. That might, in turn lower our prize fund. So, don't be alarmed ...

I for one am looking forward to the August Sprints at Road America.

Hang on to your hat (or better said, Helmets). We are in for a rough ride this spring!
There was a run at Sam's Club today that made it look like there was a hurricane coming! People are scared and acting accordingly... Hope we have a season... Mark Fick

I'm not really used to seeing spectators at our races anyway
People are now hoarding paper towels. I have cleaning towels already so I just bought soap. Walking down the empty aisles I thought to myself... is this how human society ends? In conflict over the last roll of TP? How crappy. |

I noticed no race monitor info for VIR as well but did find it on race hero-
Also received an email this morning that the Rd Atlanta Major has been cancelled next week. |

Yep. It does say "postponed" though, rather than cancelled. We'll see...
I drained my fuel cell and put the car up for temporary storage. So, my golf clubs will get some use this weekend instead. Kurt Breitinger

It would be nice if SCCA would communicate some sort of coherent strategy for the upcoming races. Just waiting until the week before each individual event and then deciding whether or not to cancel is not helpful. Participants (drivers, marshalls, etc.) need to be able to plan their schedules and budgets. Given how front-loaded the Majors schedule is, it would seem like there might be an opportunity to push many events back to July-September, but not if they don't act quickly and decicively to get tracks booked.
