I was so tempted to title this "Don't read" to make sure everyone would open the link.

http://www.sccaenterprises.com/updates/SRF%20Future.pdf

I want to thank a particular new Board member for some serious reorganizing and clarifying help on the letter. (Although he did suggest I removed my prostate exam joke that followed the section on fuel volume and stream....).

There will not be any more details provided on these items at this time. Only the fuel system discussion is current and are we preparing parts for.

Since my Ford blowed up, last weekend and the fact that five years from now the SCCA won't issue a license to a guy my age...please send me one of them new bullets so I get a chance to experience it before...well...you know.

Thanks
H.B.

Thanks for the info and the work to make it all happen. Count me in for the new ECU and engine when they are available.

Well I'm in that perfect storm situation where I could be really upset about this news, but I'm not.
On the contrary, I find myself excited about it, even if my recent (like last week) required purchase of a rebuild ends up pushing my adoption date out.

Kudos again to Enterprises for intelligent changes and excellent information sharing.

Eric,
I am new to the SRF. I ran Renaults from the first year. I left those before the Ford. I have to have a rebuild before next season in any event. The knowledge that a new modern engine with current electronics does make me look forward with great expectation. Congrats on getting it planned.

The "SR1-SR2-SR3" plan starts to fall into place. Plus 25HP and minus 50lbs should make it easier to put all three SR classes on track at the same time.

Maybe this explains why our shop was asked after telling us last week that my engine needed a rebuild : "what do you want us to do with your engine?"
