The Improved Touring National Tour http://www.itnationaltour.com which all GCR I.T. classes are eligible to attend as well as the SCCA pro F2000 championship series and pro F1600 formula F championships.

I'm strongly considering making the trek for the July event at Mid-Ohio. My crew guy is interested in running the Friday PDX in his street car, which is a Mazda MX5 with convertible hard top. Based on the rules for Friday's event would he be able to run his MX5? Thanks for your help!

Yes he can run a hard top on his MX5. And he can steal the transponder off your car and run the club trial on Saturday too.

Thanks Todd. Not sure as he'll be able to use the transponder from my car (it's hard-wired), but I know he'll be glad to hear about Friday. Hope we're able to make it!

We will have transponders for rent if he needs one. Hope to see you in July.
