Just a note especially to Gen3 drivers that SRF and SRF3 are required to run the 90db muffler for the entire weekend (the test day will be at 101db), even though only race 2 is 10 minutes into the 90db window (don't ask!) For the Gen3, Enterprises has a new muffler/tailpipe kit available so if you plan to attend please make sure that you don't get caught out without the Gen3 "Laguna" muffler kit.

The price we pay for getting to be loud last time. :)

And for the festival race, the top ten on speed will have to run without the muffler to even things up!

Just Kidding. :)

Does no one else have beef that PCA gets the most track time during the most desired times of each day?

2 30 minute practices
1 30 minute qual
3 30 minute races

SCCA classes on a SCCA weekend get
1 25 minute practice
2 20 minute qual
2 25 minute races

**Yes, I know SRF has a 3rd bonus race but you need to wait until the end of the day for that after racing at 8:50 in the morning.

Did PCA spend a lot of money on a run group to help reduce entry costs for SCCA racers? Doesnt look like it because my entry is still over $600.

What am I missing????????

Sorry, rant over

Mike, The region is losing money this year and to make up for it they sold the PCA group track time. Don't know what they paid, but hope it was worth it to the region.

On a related subject Enterprises is dragging it's feet on sending out the mufflers. They are aware that we need them.
