Hello All!

The upcoming TWS Majors race is a final chance to run one of the best drivers tracks in the country; as it is closing for good after the weekend!

The event will have a Friday test day. The Majors weekend will be a 2 day Majors format.

We used TWS for the first 2016 tire test last September and a number of our top drivers can chime in with comments about the course configuration and driving thrills!

(EDITED - the event is no a Majors only. Future Anniversary options are being discussed.)

Bah! The one TWS race that I'm going to miss... of course.
Have fun, all, it's a great track and I hope you give it a tremendous send off.
Drink one for me, and pour one out for the track for me.

Friends,

We will be saying goodbye to one of my favorite race tracks soon and I'd love to see a bunch of Spec Racers there. If you've not been before the track is really fun. A fast sweeping acre of asphalt turn like Sebring, a flat out pucker up turn like the kink at Road America, a down hill, whoa it down, turn back on yourself turn like the tree turn at Hallett. Robey is arranging a get together for Friday night and nobody does it better than he does. Come say good bye to TWS and enjoy some great racing.

Bump...note post change. This is a fantastic event to attend, but no longer an Anniversary.

Any particular reason for the change?

Thanks,
Chris

If any veterans of this track will be around for the Friday practice, I'm hoping to be able to follow someone for a lap or two to make sure I 'm not driving like an idiot.

I've been watching videos online, but that isn't quite the same as being in the car following someone who is faster than you are.

There might be a couple of brew dogs in it for you. We can figure something out to make it work for us both. Shoot me a private message on this forum so that we can take the conversation offline.

Thanks,
Chris - complete rookie

I would have really welcomed the opportunity to drive this track after seeing most or all of the videos. If you can get some on camera interviews about the history of drivers and track along with multiple on car sequences, I would be happy to edit and grade a short documentary about TWS.

Steve, sounds good. I'm in the red/white 96 for this event. See you in a week.
