Gents,
I find myself in a situation where I'm going to be needing to run probably 60-65 pounds of ballast at the upcoming TWS race.
I have about 25 pounds of plates currently. Any creative (and legal) ideas of how a guy with limited tools (mental and physical) can close that gap safely? And no, "eating half of Hal", while possibly a strong option to some of you, isn't a viable solution. I'm a big Walking Dead fan, but I draw the line at cannibalism.

TIA!

I was going to suggest you borrow some extra from Clay???

How in the world did you end up needing 65 pounds?

Lightweight bodywork, helium inflated tires, and a lack of Mother's Taffy cookies.

if you promise to never side with Clay in the weight debate and return them, i'll bring some to TWS. i think i have that much in stock. I have lent a lot more of them out than have ever been returned!

Denny - do like we did in the big one (VW1) - put a heavy flak jacket under your butt! I refuse to engage with Kramer - something about when you argue with an idiot you become the idiot. And Lee! et tu???

After grinding body work, getting new rockers, new light lithium battery and being 250# at Daytona with 1.5 gallons I weighed 1683#!!! So to celebrate I ate a lot of twinkies and now am 260#.

Clay - I just couldn't help myself - when Denny said he was 65 pounds under weight I figured there just had to be a way to average the two of you. :D

Eating half of Hal would only gain you 11 pounds.
