Rev limit at 4500 RPM for Laguna....kidding. LOTS of room across the back of the car for a good muffler. We won't wait until 2015 to try one there! We learned a lot with the FE about mufflers.

Seems like you could replace part of that pipe with a heavy duty Portland muffler and it would be pretty elegant. (SCCA at Laguna is still 92, I think, but everybody else is 90).

I'm just going to post things as I recall them, or they come up in private discussions.

The Gen3 kit requires NO WELDING to install, it just bolts in. Mike has actually updated the rear / low transmission mount (for the current car too as soon as we get them in stock) to allow another degree of freedom to insure that if your 1.9L conversion was done sloppy, Gen3 will still be a reasonable install.

Mike always has everything figured out!

Nice flat torque curve! It shouldn't be hard to talk the wife out of a vacation or two :D

The new engine looks and sounds great! Any chance you could post copies of the horsepower/torque curve and acceleration charts shown in the video?

The new break rotors sound awesome! ;-)

It sounds great, and I hope you guys get lots of great press for all the effort. There really is nothing comparable to SR/SRF/SRG3.

Has any decision been made about the weight? As a guy who has a hard time making the current minimum, I'd like to see at least some of the weight savings left as weight allowance. (If we save 50 lbs with the new motor, only drop the minimum weight 25, for instance).

Just to make what is sure to be a long thread longer.

Time to start using lead filler on the nose. :)
