Just in case the fuel rail fittings are corroded shut (not uncommon), you can also make up a fuel drain hose that can be hose clamped to the fuel filter outlet side and dropped into the gas can.

To activate the pump on a GEN2 without a separate pump switch, use a small piece of safety wire (or any un-insulated .032 wire) to make small shunt that can jump between the two fuel pump relay plug female sides that complete the fuel pump circuit.

It can be done w/o messing with the relay using the diagnostic port. Don't have the info here with me, maybe someone else does?

I thought it was from Mike Davies on fuel pump testing. One of the wires from the 4 or 5 pin connector for computer code reading that is by ECU. Grounded out one of those wires and fuel pump would run.

You can also run a wire from the positive lead on the fuel pump up to an insulated quick connect near the master switch. I then kept a one foot piece of wire in my tool box (with a mating insulated quick connect on one end and an alligator clip on the other end) which I would hook up to the master switch to run the fuel pump.

IIRC, the grey with pink wire is the ground, jumper that one with the one next to it, on the end of the plug(black?).

That sounds very familiar Dave. Can someone confirm those two wires?
