Gen3 Oil Pressure Sender Failure

Just an FYI. I had an oil pressure sending unit fail this last weekend. Fortunately I still have the old oil gauge installed, so I could tell I had good oil pressure.
Per Mike Davies, "The fuel & Oil sending units are not as reliable as I would like, I would only buy AC Delco Part # D1846A (Oil)".
Just another thing to put on the spare parts list, if it's not already there.

I had two oil pressure sending unit sensors fail on my car at NOLA in one weekend. I have raced four weekends since replacing the sensor with no other problems.

My oil pressure is always pegged. Its been that way since I bought my car. I got a new oil pressure sender, but the issue continues. I assume I should have checked wiring first. Are there any manuals on wiring setup?

You may have a bad ground to that sensor if it is pegged.

Or, as Enzo and I went through recently with my GEN3 conversion, a bad ground at the dash panel gauges.
