The tube lies on/near the bottom of the tank. It goes from the left rear corner of the tank diagonally toward the right front corner of the tank.

Bob,

The instruction manual and picture on page 3 do not really explain how/where to install the tube with 8an fitting and the 6an fitting. I think that will probably be in the next update to the manual.

Pages 26/27 explain how to assemble the water lines, but not how to assemble the "coolant system fill/surge" tank by welding in the 6 and 8 an fittings. Am I missing something? Is there an updated Gen3 manual?

Version 10_6 is the latest. I thought the picture of the new tank would be self-explanatory, assuming that retro-fitting the new fittings would mean putting them in the same location as the new (though I bought a new one since my aluminum fortuitously split and wasn't worth fixing.)

Erik, thanks for the updated post. Looks like the instructions for modifying the tank are here now. Only suggestion would be to please go back to using page numbers rather than roman numerals. :idea:

P.S. The link to the manual on the scca-e site is still pointing to version 10.6...
