Tow Vehicle Tires

Looking for recommendations...

2015 GMC 3/4 Ton Diesel crew cab, 18" tires. 20 foot enclosed. Summer SRF. Winter ice racing.

Looking for 4 season tire with good tread wear and decent winter grip.

OEM Michelin LTX A/T2 never had grip and completely wore out at 35,000 miles.

I understand that dedicated winter tires would be perfect, but I don't want to spend that kind of money, and I have nowhere to store 4 more tires/rims.

Anyone have good luck with tires on a similar tow vehicle set up?

Thanks!

Pat

I run Nitto All Terrains on my 2500 Diesel. E rated 18’s. They have a 50-60k milage warranty pro rate. They do well in the rain, mud, dirt & street. Don’t know much about snow.

I tow a 36ft Haulmark Gooseneck and have had no problems. Make sure to run them at the 75 psi or they wear out quicker. I buy mine a Discount Tire. Buy the warranty...

Good luck!
