Can you imagine what we would have to pay Bernie for that spot? I can... and I don't think we can afford $10k entry fees!

Get some money together. In about 2-3 years when Bernie bails on San Antonio, we could own our very own, FIA sanctioned club racing park.
But if this does come to fruition, the track will be available for 40-50 weeks per year for events other than F1. SCCA will have the opportunity to run events there even though it won't be on F1 weekend.
