20 SRF pre-entered at this point. We're Group3 (of 6) and grouped with SPU,SSB,SSC,STU,T3 (total of 5 of them so far). Based on who's in so far, it should be a great weekend with some outstanding racing. The event (normally held at Daytona but displaced by DIS track repaving) is on the Sebring Long Course (3.7 mi) using the 12 Hour pits and paddock. The schedule is a 20 minute qualifying and 30 minute SARRC race each day. There is a track test day on Friday.

Also - our group will be doing an extra pace lap on Sunday - a "Missing Man" parade lap in honor of Gail Kasson who passed away last Monday (July 19). Gail was a long time CFR Flagger, SEDiv DA for worker licensing, and friend to many.

I've been asked to pass along a "thank you" from Central Florida Region and its workers for the "missing man" parade lap done (in the rain) by the Spec Racers at Sebring yesterday afternoon to honor the memory of Gail Kasson.

All of the corner stations displayed all flags while the field went by behind the pace car in two by two formation with the pole spot left vacant.

A very fitting tribute to a very fine lady who will be sorely missed throughout the SCCA world. Gail was a long time flagger, performed a number of additional roles (like SEDiv DA for Worker Licenses), and was a kind of track mom to many in the region.
